Well I have been a lazy old dude these last two days. Sometimes you just got to step away from the computer and relax and enjoy a day or two. I notice when I slow down, so does my traffic and I need to do this every once an a while, to see if my visitors are coming because of my workings or just because.

After a good week with a couple of posts at all my blogs and here and there my static traffic picks up and stays about the same for a week or so. But when I am working and posting, the traffic is greatly increased. So remember this is a Job its not a hard labor intensive job, but it does eat up a lot of your time, if you wish to drive your traffic.

It may be better to keep a set schedule rather then a post whenever you feel like it or a continuous stream of postings. And a period with no posts. Sticking to a schedule will keep your readers and visitors coming back, if they know your are a regular poster and actively creating new materials for them. To see, read, and think or talk about.

Posting too little or too much will give the reader the ideal your going to have a lot of useless info or not enough quality information. Post too little, then they'll think it is not worth their time, for everyone is selling the same info and products. It is just a matter of how it is presented for them, that matters too them. Remember your readers challenge, entice, shock, and entertain them or they will seek out others to do so.

Remember your Readers desires. They want you to be entertaining, or a problem solver, shocking, controversial, helpful and there whenever they want ya. Your on call 24/7 and you do this by building up their trust in you, and that you are here to stay. Start Logging what you do, and when you do it, start a journal, And pay attention to their comments when you get them.

Interact as often as possible as quickly as possible. If you want friends be one, your time is going to be hard to juggle at first, if you don't know how much you are actually using and spending.

Your readers they'll want to be able to interact with you as much as possible. And you need to give them some of yourself.

PW&OSfStSM or Poetry Writes & Other Stuff from Sinbad the Sailor Man is a site with three, count them three Domains Dot Com,  Dot Net, and Dot ORG

That means your ad is seen in three different Venues. I am only telling you all this because some one told me my prices were to high for my sites ad space. I don't think they are and I am the Boss! Three for the price of one is a great deal where I come from. I should have made that clear in my AdSpace Post.

I am sorry, I have been very, very, busy and I am only One Guy! I will correct this very soon. So if you were thinking of advertising here now is the time to do so. As once I straighten things up and out. These spaces might start to move.  

For my Traffic ranking is starting to enter in the zone at two of the three domains. And I am here to stay for quite some time now, as I see that they are enter the zone.

Thanks for the read and I am sorry for the mix up, this could have been an advantage for some Advertiser who would of Paid a little mind to the sites addresses. 

As I have said before I am not a totally wrapped package. I have things that naturally hold me back some, but I am slowly over coming them once again.

When you check the Alexa standings from the site you are on make sure it has the correct Address.

As I never noticed or paid attention to it myself as to why the numbers were jumping around as they seem to have been doing.

It was because I use two different computers and three to four different Web Browsers and the address to the site changes in each different one of these that I use. I just caught that when the price issue was brought up.

Yep! I have placed at the bottom left an about mid page, right column a turn the page forward and backwards and a Home Page link.

Remember ease of movement and make it easy, as easy as you can to let your readers, visitors, and potential Advertisers the capabilities to traverse your site's pages. 

I am not sure how this will effect the length of time on site, but I am hopeful it will add to it. Once you get traffic you'll need to extend their stay, to keep the search engines happy in suggesting your site to viewers.

Load times and length of time on site will keep the Search Engines on your side also how often are you maintaining and updating your site, and then.

Your Contents Quality. Or so I believe this is what is happening from what I am seeing. 

So I have not added all my other writes and hints and tips here just yet. I need to get the sites pages to fall into a balance viewership.

Naturally the Home Page where this Blog is located will be the most viewed or at least this should be your initial goal. As this is where you will inform your viewers how to use your site, what it is about, how it came to be, and what it offers them etc, etc.

Well I got to get busy here! I am need of getting things to balance here and at my blogs and social sites and also the book markers and indexers that I am using.

Plus I need to find and participate with some new ones as often as I find a top site or a new and/ or unique site.

I am here today for a brief check up on my Alexa stats and I see they are starting to come back down into the mid millions again about 6,819,123.

This is Good News and it is telling me. I need to spend some more time here each day now. To add new content and pictures small thumb nails at first and excerpts about each individual write and poem.

This site: Is One Site  in common with three domains, they are the 

Dot COM, Dot NET, and Dot ORG.

It now has, once again  its 290 links within pages, and 82 in bound links. These in- bound links are from different websites and theses are the sites that are funneling traffic this way.

The bread crumbs I was talking about. Those paths that travel to and from others sites and then lead them back to your site.

Depending on you status with Alexa  you'll be able to find them and decide if you wish to link back to and through them. You must not make poor choices here, the benefits must at least be a 50/50 deal or split with those you chose always! Or a better split and to your sites advantage, but I rather you prefer the 50/50 split when first starting out.

As being the stronger you will need to provide a greater light or people will start to shy away from your content. This just naturally happens for reasons I have not yet picked up on yet.

Or I should say that don't share a lot of the sites info just yet, because it does not behoove them to do so. I will be writing more on this later. I just wanted to say hey, hey!

And let you know I am still here and still expanding weekly. I have just yesterday earned my 100,000 page view badge at wikinut.com and now I need to do the same with Hubpages.com and with Triond.com. I don't need too, but I am going to do this or try to do this for a certain amount of time. To see what will happen and how it relates within my site, this Sites and their traffic and numbers.

Well I got to go and stay on schedule or at least stick to it, my schedule if you don't have a plan sit down and draw a rough draft up today!

And once a week or month review it and make it fit and work to what is happen with your sites, their pages, and their numbers. Start if you are not already keeping a Journal and Logs. On what you want to do, and that that you do, do and how much time you are spending at each of them doing it, at each site.

Get you, a digital kitchen timer and set a time for each site. I have twenty- five I must spend time at each  daily, weekly, monthly, if I hope to maintain and grow a presents at them. More on this later.

Well it looks as if I can start adding more content now, as before I slowed way down because of that Porno site, I did not want to further its reach or allow it to grow along with this site. It seems that since I have deleted the old forum I have stopped their meddling here at PW&OSfStSM 

I still have many obstacles holding me back. My health issues and technical issues are some, my in-experience is another, my attention span is the biggest one I face, for even though I log and take plenty of notes on almost everything I see and do.

I still can't hold things in my mind with out multiple rereads. But you should be better equipped if not technically, health wise any way. And if you face the same or other obstacles you will see you are not alone here while trying to make this World Wide Web work for you.

I have two older computers both running free operating systems at this time and they are limiting my capabilities, with printing, photos, videos, and applications that make these necessities work effectively for me.

It is the price you pay when starting out. And out of your pocket or for being to frugal with you systems and programs. 

I am saving for new reinstall disks for WindowsXP Pro as I know this system well and good.  I found some, but it will take me some time to juggle my funds even for their small costs, if I win them at e-Bay.

Once I get them I should be able to produce and order things up faster and on a more frequent basis. Thanks for stopping by.

Poetry Writes & Other Stuff from Sinbad the Sailor Man or PW&OSfStSM

Is it possible to brand an abbreviation of your sites name? I would think yes, it is possible. So I am going to start to do it. I have started with Twitter because this is where I promote the most, at this present time.

I will do it at Facebook also, and on this site and within my Blogs and their posts. So far I have several devices for branding this site and my self.

Also my Real Name: Donald Beres Jr This another device I often use to relate all these writes.

"Poetry Writes and Other Stuff from Sinbad the Sailor Man" is this site and the title to two of my other Blogs as well as a Facebook  fan Page.

So the branding is being done by associations and likenesses.

A week or so ago I started trying to brand the Sites Abbreviation PW&OSfStSM: And it is beginning to take hold as I sign off in my tweets and posts with It. I did this to save time and space. It will give me another search-able phrase or term as well.

I am working on a visual Logo also, but have not decided on anyone just yet, I am getting closer though. I am now in an Affiliation with Fatcow.com

As you might have guessed or noticed. So if you are looking for a website host I know a little bit of this one here. I have been using it for about a year and a half now. And I am actually starting to read up on what it is able to do for me.
